Only a few coins have been discontinued

What to do if someone refuses to accept a coin?
If a shopkeeper or individual does not accept a 10 rupee coin of yours, you may file a complaint against him. After which the National Crime Investigation Bureau will punish the shopkeeper under the section 489(E) of the Indian Currency Act.
