Recently, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary told the earning reporters that no further proposal regarding the 8th Pay Commission has been put forth in the government. The MP has also informed that the salary and pension for employees will be enhanced under the 7th Pay Commission. There is no further talk of a New Pay Commission at the moment.
There will be an increase in dearness allowance
Currently, under the 7th Pay Commission, all government employees as well as pensioners get a relief through dearness allowance along with their salary and pension. To remind you, the central gvernment raises the dearness allowance to its employees once in every six months. The current level of dearness allowance is 53 percent for all the employees, but the government is going to make an increase before the new year.
Now we tell you about new messages coming from some specific experts and media reports. That’s because by the new year, the central government will be raising the dearness allowance (DA) for all its employees. For the time being, all the employees and pensioners are receiving 53 percent dearness allowance, which would soon be ramped up by 56 percent.
