DA Hike For Employees: As the New Year approaches, the employees of the central government have received good news. The government is going to give another big boon in the form of DA to the central employees this New Year. The dearness allowance of the employees has been increased. It is expected to increase soon with a view to increasing their salary and pension as well. For this, the government can give this gift at the very beginning of the year 2025.
Employees to Benefit Greatly
The central government can soon announce the increase of dearness allowance. This increase is applicable to 7th pay commission. Dearness allowance is calculated for the central government onward applying only the AICPI index. DA becomes effective every six months. By October 2024, AICPI index value reached 144.5 or dearness Allowance could be 55.05%. It is predicted that these figures can reach further in November and December 145.3. Hence, dear allowance might rise to 56% on January 2025 (DA Hike in January 2025). Soon to arrive are the AICPI Index figures for November and December.
Basic Salary Hike Update
If the Central Government raises DA (January 2025 DA) by 3 per cent, then it will also increase employee salaries. For instance, if an employee’s base pay now is 16,000 rupees and is given a 53 percent DA (basic salary hike update), then the employees will earn around 8,480 rupees as DA per annum. If this DA increases to 56 percent in January 2025 when 80 percent was allocated as DA timing, then the DA of the employees will increase to Rs 8,960 (DA Hike). According to which they will have a very big increase in salaries.
There will be an increase in Dearness Allowance in the year 2025
As mentioned earlier, this Dearness Allowance has been increased by the Central Government for July 2024. Under this, the Dearness Allowance (DA Benefits) of the employees has been increased by 3 percent. Because of this, the employees’ DA has been increased from 50 to 53 percent. DAs are expected to be increased once again by 3 percent by January 2025. (DA Hike news).
