Recently, the Labor Federation had demanded 3% hike to increase dearness allowance to 56% along with increase in basic pays of employees; now it is said that the new pay commission for that will meet the demand raised by Labor Federation.
Salary and pension will increase every 5 years
For your information, let us tell you that the Labor Federation demands that pension and salary of employees and pensioners shall be increased or revised every five years, as it is said that the same would strengthen the employees and pensioners against the rising inflation and they would be on a stronger footing economically. Sources also indicate that the government may meet this demand in the new pay commission.
8th pay commission will be implemented soon
There have been recent communications made to the government by the Labor Federation, demanding for immediate execution of the Pay Commission number Eight. Word is that the Central Government, looking toward the letter sent from the Labor Federation, is on the verge of doing so in April 2025.
