Firstly, good news is coming for employees as the government will increase the dearness allowance of all government employees during the early phase of the New Year. As most of you know, the dearness allowance and other pummeling things concerning increases take place in the first month of January every year and again in the seventh month of the year. Therefore, there is going to be the second increase this time in dearness allowances for January 2025. According to the leaked information, sources say that higher dearness will be increased beyond their limits in January.
How much will be the increase in DA?
Currently, the dearness allowance is at 53 percent. Some experts have been quoted saying that in January 2025, it will be increased by 3 percent, resulting in a dearness allowance of 56 percent. For example, if a person has a salary currently of Rs 20,000, after this increment of DA, he will receive a salary of Rs 20,600.
When will the new DA be released?
The central government said in recent writing that it will soon come up with newer prospective policies with impositions on inflation and for the benefit of government employees, which will also benefit the government employees and stop inflation. Dearness allowance gets increased every six months; it will again get altered in January 2025, with no dates or official statements on that.
