Will the 8th Pay Commission not come then?
The report goes that a new mechanism may replace the Pay Commission for salary revision. Report claims that such new method is likely based on quotes by employee union leaders. When will the 7th Pay Commission tenure end?

The Department of Expenditure under the Finance Ministry has really disappointed all government employees and pensioners in saying that there is no proposal concerning the setting up of the 8th Central Pay Commission. In a written reply, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary told the Rajya Sabha that no proposal is under consideration with respect to starting the process of the next pay commission. Dissatisfaction flows in employees as well.
