DA increased by 3%
To inform you, very recently, the Gujarat government has once again announced an increase in dearness allowance to over 9 lakh government employees and pensioners. Employee organizations stated that the dearness allowance demanded from the Gujarat government by them is 3 percent- to which the Gujarat government has conceded and increased it by 3 percent to the dearness allowance of employees and pensioners. As of now, employees were getting 50 percent dearness allowance; now, because of the increase of 3 percent, it will be 53 percent.
Reporting from the well-worn path of information says it is that salary pension would be held from July to November 2024 to be credited into the accounts of such employees and pensioners in January 2025.
Who will get the benefit
In fact, the Gujarat government has raised the dearness allowance to support the upliftment of the employees and pensioners financially. It is to be noted that some departments of Gujarat have benefitted from the increase in dearness allowance, including primary teachers, panchayat employees, and employees of private assisted schools.
