DA Hike: Before the end of the years 2023, Chief Minister from Uttar Pradesh namely Yogi Adityanath announced the increment in allowances of his employees for the new year. For one’s information, about 15 thousand government officials have to benefit from this new announcement under the 7th pay commission. As things currently stand, this allowance is being reported to start from November 2024.
For your information, the Yogi government has announced the new year gift for the employees from the Transport Department-. Starting the new year, all the transport department employees will be entitled to dearness allowance at 46 percent and this is going to benefit more than 15 thousand employees from the transport department.
There will be an increase of 8% in dearness allowance
You know that today 38 percent dearness allowances are given to the employees of Transport Department while it is 53 percent for Central employees. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh announced an 8 percent increase in the dearness allowance of employees of Transport Department in view of this. As a result, all employees of the Transport Department will receive 46 percent dearness allowance. For your information, this allowance will be effective from November 2024.
Gratuity will also be increased
By telling you that employees, after increasing DA by eight percent, are now demanding an increase of four percent in DA. It is to be noted that when the dearness allowance increases from 46 percent to 50 percent, then the employees will get Rs 25 lakh in place of 20 lakh-gratuity at the time of retirement. At present, no decision has been taken over this by the government, but according to information received from sources, it is being talked about. A case is likely to be decided on in January 2025.
